I intentionally chose to flip Agile Best Self Principle 1 to see what happens when I focus on encouraging others first, even when I’m not feeling like my best self at the beginning of the day.

Turns out, it’s a new tool for me now.

Working on our presence is working on exercising control of our behavior, and to handle the times when the Inner Critic may take over the microphone in the newscast of our lives. It is a skill — and therefore you can learn how to do it. There are a lot of ways to train ourselves to be more present.
