Today was a tough day. Fought through the negativity by focusing on presence — that was the extent of the energy I had. Right now, I could use a lifeline.
Working on our presence is working on exercising control of our behavior, and to handle the times when the Inner Critic may take over the microphone in the newscast of our lives. It is a skill — and therefore you can learn how to do it. There are a lot of ways to train ourselves to be more present.
